Once you click on the “More” tab, a pop-up menu will appear with different options on the left side of the page. There you will see options like “Moments,” “Promo Mode,” “Twitter Ads,” “Analytics,” “Settings and privacy,” “Help center,” “Display,” and “Logout”.
Every option has its own advantages and role. Among all the options, you need to select “Settings and privacy” option which will bring out a new page of all the features and options related to account settings.
When you click on the “Settings and privacy” option, a page will appear with “Settings,” “General,” “Account,” and “Data permissions” tabs. There, below the “Account” tab, you will have all the options related to your profile like “username”, “phone”, “email”, “password” and “security”.
Now, you need to click on the “Password” tab located below the “account” section. Thereafter, you will have a section to change your Twitter password. The section will appear with options that are, “Current password,” “Forgot password?” “New password,” and “Confirm password,”.
In case you want to change your password, then you need to make the use of the “Current password” tab. Click on the “Current” and enter the right password. After you enter the current password, then enter the new password you want to set in the “New password” tab.
In the next step, you will be required to enter the new password again in the “confirm” tab and then click on the “Save” button covered with a blue box located at the below-right corner of the page.
Doing this will save the changes you have made in your previous password, after which you will be able to access your Twitter account with a new password.
Below the change password section, you will also have an option of “Forgot password?” Click on it after which you will be taken on a new page. On the new page, you will be asked “How do you want to reset your password?” with two alternatives – “Text code to my phone ending in **” and ” Email a link to li***********@g****.***” with a “Continue” button.

If you select “Text code to my phone ending **” option, then you will be required to follow the steps given below-
Then click on the “Continue” button, and enter the code in the required field. Once you enter the code, click on the “submit” button located below the code field.
Now it is the time to reset your password. Once you enter the code in the required field, you will be taken on a new page where you will have two blank tabs asking for your new password. Further, enter the new password again in the next tab to confirm the password and later on click on the “Submit” button.
After submitting the new password, your password will get saved and you will get the access to use your Twitter account with your new password.
In case you choose the option to reset your Twitter password via email then you will be required to mark the option “Email a link to li**********@g****.**”. Further, click on the “Continue” button to complete the procedure.
When you click on the “continue” option, you will be taken on a new page where you will have a message asking you to check your email with “We’ve sent an email to li***********@g****.***. Click the link in the email to reset your password. If you don’t see the email, check other places it might be, like your junk, spam, social, or other folders.”
Open your email account and look for the email you receive from Twitter to reset your password. When you open the mailbox, click on the “Reset password” covered with a blue box. Thereafter change the password as per your choice, but make sure that you set the new password according to the Twitter guidelines.
