1. Ensure That Your Account Has Been Deactivated For A Long Time:

 After deactivating your Instagram your account, you cannot reactivate it immediately. Instagram requires a few hours to complete the process, and during the process, you cannot reactivate your account.

 If you have deactivated your Instagram account for more than a day, you can easily log in to Instagram.

2. You Can’t Reactivate A Deleted Account:

If you have deleted Instagram account, then it cannot be reactivated. Here, you will be required to create a new account.

3. Open Instagram:

4. Enter Your Username:

Once you open Instagram, you will see the blank fields. Provide your phone number, email address, or username whichever the option you preferred.

The option depends on the screen to which Instagram loads, you may first have to tap a “Log In” button.

5. Enter Your Password:

Go to the blank field asking for the password, and enter your account’s password.  Ensure to provide the correct password, but if you don’t remember your password,  you will need to “reset” it.

6. Tap Log In:

Tap “Log In,” located on the bottom of the screen. You can do this only if your “Log In” credentials are correct. Doing so will log you into your Instagram account and reactivate your account.

7. Follow The On-screen Instructions:

It depends upon how long your Instagram account has been deactivated- you may have to agree to the Terms of Use or verify your phone number before you can proceed to your account.

Logging back in your account will simply reactivate the Instagram account; therefore you don’t have to perform further reactivation process.

Appealing A Disabled Account:

1. Verify That Your Account Is Suspended:

Open the Instagram account, and try to log in with the correct credentials. If you see a pop-up screen with a  message, “Your account has been disabled,” or something similar means Instagram has disabled your account for violating its terms of use.

If you see an error message like “incorrect username or password,” your account has not been disabled by Instagram, try troubleshooting to fix this problem.

2. Open The Appeal Form:

Search an URL https://help.instagram.com/contact/606967319425038 in your computer’s web browser. There,  you will get a form to request that Instagram allows you to access your Instagram account.

3. Enter Your Name:

In the “Full name” tab located on the top of the page, enter your first and last name as same as it appears on your Instagram account.

Enter “your email address” and “phone number” in the text boxes respectively.

6. Enter Your Appeal Request:

In the last tab on the page, type a brief message explaining why you think your account should not be deactivated. When you write an appeal, make sure to follow the guidelines mentioned on the page.

  • Behave amicably, avoid harsh words.
  • Briefly explains that your account has been deactivated and you believe the deactivation to be a mistake.
  • Send your appeal with a thank you!

7. Click on “Send” Button:

At last, you have to click on the “send” button represented with the blue color to send your request to Instagram. If they reactivate your account, you will be able to log in your account when notifies.
