There are two methods through which you can log in to your Facebook account:
Type https://www.facebook.com/login/in your preferredweb browser. It will navigate you to Facebook's home page. If you are not logged in already, you will see a welcome screen on Facebook.
On Facebook's home page, you will see two blank fields with the "Username" tag.
In the upper-right corner of Facebook's home page, there will be a field where you have to enter your email address (enter the email address that you used to create your Facebook account).
If you have a phone number associated with your Facebook account, you can use the number to log in Facebook as well.
Once you enter your email address, you will be required to provide a password that you have created while creating a Facebook account.
If you forgot your Facebook's password, click on " I Forget My Password" link below the sign-in fields.
Once you entered your email id and password, you will see a box located just below the password tab. If you are using your own computer, you can mark “keep me logged in” box. This will bypass you from many login processes in the future and take you straight to your profile page. If you are using a public a computer (eg, cafe or library), do not mark the box.
Due to security concerns, you should never save your password in others' devices.
Once you entered your email address and login, click "Log In" tab, doing this will take you directly to your news feed. If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you will be required to enter the code that Facebook sends to your phone.
Download the Facebook app on your smartphone or tablet from Google Play Store or App Store. Facebook's application allows you to log in to your account without surfing the web browser.
If you don't want to use Facebook's application, you can open a web browser on your phone to log in to your Facebook account.
Once you download the app on your phone, open it- the app would be of blue icon with a white "f."
When you open the app for the first time, you will be asked for your email address or phone number and password.
Use the email address or username associated with your Facebook account. If you forgot your login password, tap on "Forget Password" link below the sign in fields.
Once you enter your email address and password, tap "Log In" button, doing this will directly navigate you to the main News Feed page.
